By accessing or using Bugoon ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
Bugoon provides a bug reporting widget that can be embedded on websites. The Service collects bug reports including screenshots, browser environment data, and user interaction steps, and optionally creates GitHub Issues for automated processing.
To use the Service as an administrator, you must sign in using a Google or GitHub account via Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
The Service collects the following data when a bug report is submitted: screenshots, browser and OS information, console errors, network errors, page URLs, viewport size, and user interaction steps. Screenshots are stored in Firebase Storage. Bug report metadata is stored in our database.
For details on how we handle personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
Each project is assigned a unique API key for widget embedding. You are responsible for managing your API keys and ensuring they are only used on authorized domains configured in your project settings.
GitHub integration uses the GitHub App method. When you install the GitHub App, the Service creates Issues in your specified repository within the permissions granted during installation (Issues: Read & Write). We do not store your Personal Access Tokens.
You agree not to:
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
For questions about these Terms, please contact us through our website.
